Dinner for gone ...
According to Wikipedia.org, the last meal was a traditional part of a condemned
prisoner's last day. The day before the appointed time of execution, the prisoner
would be served the meal, as well as given religious rites, if he or she so desired.
In many countries the prisoner might have the luxury of selecting what the last meal would
be (within reason), and the authorities would do their best to provide a prisoner
with the requested meal.
